Today, we pay homage to a special kind of Gentleman's Week Throwback Thursday; a tribute to the grandfathers in our lives, past and present.

As many of you may already know, we love to incorporate

menswear into our wardrobe, but what many may have not 

known, is some of the pieces are very dear to our hearts.

Emily recently lost her grandfather this year, but keeps 

a part of her Papa with her every day.  The watch and the hat were both

her grandfather's.

Danica's jacket is her paternal grandfather's from the Korean war.
It's a family heirloom piece that will be passed down to further generations,
in honor of her Grandpa Friederich.

Midwest Gentleman

David, Danica's brother, is our Midwestern gentleman. His style is a mix of cowboy-meets-city, and he chose one of his favorite pair of Chuck's boots from his established collection to wear with his dressy-casual outfit. The vintage pocket watch was our favorite hidden part of the outfit.

It's been awhile since we've celebrated the men in our lives, so we've asked two of them to be featured in our annual gentlemen's week series. Today we feature Thomas, our friend who lives in Nashville, also the location of his photos. The outfits he styled celebrate "business casual" and the American summer. He also shared with us some of his favorite accessories, vintage belts, including the last one in the photo from the Civil War!
