mannequins on the loop
In honor of 'Throwback Thursday' and the upcoming
annual Mannequins on the Loop we decided to share
our first project and also share the details for this years MOL.
Back in 2012 we decided to enter our first Mannequin on
the Loop contest. The idea was to create and design a mannequin,
in anyway you wanted, using recycled materials durable
enough to withstand the weather (since they were to be
displayed outdoors). Since it was the first year we also created
our brand, Fox&Gypsy, we decided to create a mannequin
to embody that, and this is what we created.
We were recently contacted again to enter this year, and we
could not be more excited since we were unable to enter last year!
The theme this year is, Embracing: Our Community.
First place winner will be awarded a $500 cash prize!

Madewell
A couple of weeks ago, a good friend of ours
invited us to a Happy Hour at Madewell at The Plaza Frontenac. We sipped on drinks
and snacked on light bites while we shopped the new St. Louis location. All of us left with new goodies and we can't wait to style our new purchases.

We’re excited to be kicking off Saint Louis Fashion Week
this Thursday with St. Louis Public Radio! We were asked
by Alive Magazine to pull together some outfit inspiration
for the evening on their feature
Tickets are only $15 and include open bar from 6-7pm,
heavy appetizers from The Dam, a special video presentation
showcasing locally handmade textiles, a panel discussion
on the Future of Fashion in St. Louis and why handmade is important,
and two fashion presentations from Skif International and Q Liu.
A cash bar will be available during the cocktail reception from 7-9pm.
