Snow days are great (if you get them) but can
sometimes be boring. Or maybe you are from
a place that is not prone to in-climate weather, but
have found yourself with some serious
down time this month.
One of our newly acquired pleasures lately
have been crime podcasts. Yes that's right,
Crime. There is something so strangely intriguing
about a good murder mystery, and even more
fascinating when they are real.
It all started with a curiosity for Serial.
We jumped on the bandwagon (way late)
, but like most, we were instantly hooked!
It was a real episode flipper.
As luck would have it, our procrastination
somewhat paid off. The Serial podcast has
since inspired several other pocasts to sprout up
on itunes in the vain of True Crime.
It's almost as good as binging on Netflix...almost.
But the nice thing about it is you can listen
to them at work too!
I think we have just about gone through them all
but if you are like us, and find yourself with
an afinitiy for the mysterious, check out
our favorite True Crime Podcasts on itunes!
AND, if you have any suggestions for ones to try out,
let us know! We are always looking for a
great new binge!
CASEFILE
Fact is scarier than fiction. Casefile, a true crime podcast.
Each episode explores a new case. The shocking,
the terrifying, the strange, the unsolved.
SERIAL
hosted by Sarah Koenig. Serial
tells one story—
a true story—over the course of a season.
Each season, they follow a plot and characters wherever they take you.
They won’t know
what happens at the end until they get there,
not long before you get
there with them.
