Oktoberfest at Anheuser Busch

We can hardly believe it, but it's already 

that time of the year again:

Oktoberfest Season!

We gearing up to celebrate at St. Louis'

Ultimate Oktoberfest experience this

weekend at Anheuser-Busch's

Third annual Oktoberfest Celebration.

Admission is FREE, and there will

be plenty of exclusive beer and food for purchase.

There will also be live music, game

and fun! AB Oktoberfest is a four

day event starting Thursday evening

with the Bud Light Yappy Hour

from 4-8 PM.

Don't miss the Senior Brewmaster special

keg tapping ceremony TWO nights;

Friday and Saturday at 6PM.

Tunesday; Devon Gilfillian

We first discovered the soulful sounds

of Devon Gilfillian on Spotify's Discover

Weekly playlist. His song "Here and Now"

popped up on shuffle, and we never

turned back.

Devon Gilfillian, a Philidelphia native,
has planted his roots in Nashville, TN for
the past 3 years and says he has no
plans of returning home anytime soon.
His original songs showcase his childhood
influences ranging from the
 R&B workings of Al Green and Ray Charles 
to the rock & roll vibes of Jimi Hendrix.

By great happening, Devon happened to

be opening for Drew Holcomb a couple

of weeks ago in St. Louis at Delmar Hall.
We got to watch him front row and live

play his EP. We were in pure amazement

at the talent that was exuding off of the stage.

Every song you could just feel the emotion

and the meaning.

It turns out, Devon was also playing this

past weekend at Pilgrimage Festival at yet

another small stage called the Shady Grove. 

Listeners got to sit in the shade and immerse

themselves in the bluesy southern soul music.

We just feel lucky to have seen him 

twice in such a short time, and hope to

definitely see him again soon!

Style for Siteman

One of our favorite annual events

is happening tomorrow night,

September 22. It's the Celebrate Style 

Fashion Show. It's a unique runway show

where Cancer Survivors are the star 

of the show. It's a night of Fashion,

fun, and celebration. We get chills

everytime the survivors walk out

and hold up their number of

years in remission. It's truly a one of a

kind show. 

We're helping to show our support

by Styling for Siteman with some

other favorite local blogger ladies and committee

members!

Daily Disco Ball

We first DISCOvered Daily Disco while scrolling

 through etsy for enamel pins to add to our stash. Initially, 

we did not know this adorable etsy shop and studio

 was in St. Louis, let alone a mere mile from our workplace. 

We started following her on instragram and through 

instagram stories, fell in love with her studio and art. 

This past weekend we finally got to take a peek and explore her

 studio while shopping her new fall collection of pins and 

patches. She even offered custom chainstich embroidery

 on the spot-- completely free-handed art. 

The party was every bit as bright, colorful and carefree 

as Abby Eilermann, the Daily Disco herself,--complete

 with flavored glittery,cotton candy,  rosé,  ice sparkling

 cocktails and a DJ. We didn't leave empty-handed either, 

we painstakingly selected a few of her

 vintage Las Vegas inspired pieces 

(available here) to add to our collections.
