Couturier

Calling all vintage designer lovers! Christmas came
a month early this year. Tonight is THE
opening night of The Resale Shops' annual event, Couturier!
We've been waiting all year for this, and it's just in time for
the Holidays.

Couturier, the National Council of Jewish Women’s signature event 

at The Resale Shop, offers the best new and nearly new high-end, sought-after 

designer items available for purchase. Couturier opens with a sneak-peek on 

Thursday, November 7 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. 
For a $10 donation at the door,

 shoppers get first choice of merchandise. The event continues throughout the weekend,

 Friday, November 8 through Saturday, November 9. The Resale Shop is l

ocated at 295 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (between Ladue and Olive) in Creve Coeur

unraveled: {snoods}

Today starts the beginning of our Unraveled series

where we will be showing various ways to recycle last 

seasons {or newly purchased} sweaters.

We are kicking off the series this week by instructing how to turn your old knit into a chunky snood scarf; a fall | winter classic.  It's a simple and quick project, and if

you're like us, and can't knit but wish you could

it's a great shortcut to get that envied home-knit neck-warmer.

We don't like the cold , but one thing that definitely
eases the pain of the harsh weather is a favorite winter staple; the chunky scarf.
Aside from their practicality in these colder months,
we love the added chic-ness they can bring to a layered look.
Style it with a casual basic, a pair
of leather leggings and some tall boots, or pair it with your
favorite trench. Be extra stylish and wear it with your
holiday dress as an unexpected, yet chic, accessory.
