will forever live on.

Tunesday; John Moreland

The excerpt about John Moreland

on his Spotify Bio from his TV debut

was more fitting than anything I think

we could have written about

having watched him play last night

at Delmar Hall. It was entrancing in

every way. His lyrics, voice and 

performance led to a magical set that

left me wanting to stay all night.

"The replay of John Moreland's networkd TV debut is...

glorious and affirming and a sucker punch. He is announced

by Stephen Colbert, lights dissolve, and the camera slowly

focuses on the person midway across the unadorned stage,

revealing him beneath muted blue lights.

He is a big man.

Seated, alone, cradling his acoustic guitar.

He looks like nobody who is famous.

Then he begins to sing, to caress the song

"Break My Hear Sweetly", and all that remains is to 

whisper "Oh, my god." "

Watch for yourself! Although I don't quite think

it will match to BEING there, it certainly

will come close enough. And if he ever comes

to your town, definitely check him out!

Tunesday; Dua Lipa

We got to see this badass

female artist Dua Lipa tear up the stage at 

Bonnaroo last year. 

Her self titled album,

Dua Lipa, has really been getting

us through some serious gym sessions lately,

especially her hit single IDGAF and New Rules. 

We may or may not have caught ourselves dancing

more than once on the elliptical machine.

Tunesday; J.S. Ondara

Happy Tunesday!

 We are getting back

in the groove after a couple weeks off,

regrouping and relaxing.

While we were on hiatus we had

some time to discover some great new

music. One person we found that 

stood out to us was someone we found

via our Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify,

J.S. Ondara.

Only two singles are listed on his page. 

The one we "discovered" was Revolution Blues.

It's a beautiful folky song about the times.

He says:

"Early last year I went to the women's march

 that took place in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was a cold

 Saturday morning and all around I could see thousands 

of people singing and dancing cheerfully. It didn't feel much 

like a protest, rather than a gathering for love and solidarity. 

As I walked about the crowds of women and men, young and 

old- these words took form in my head; "Let it loose, 

it's the revolution blues". That would end up being the chorus for a 

new song titled "Revolution Blues" that I'm excited to share with you today."

You have to hear it, to feel it. After

a bit of research the find out more

on the allusive artist, all we could

find was that he is currently opening

for Anderson East on his new tour.

No wonder we like his vibe.

to be going to soon!

Last year at Bonnaroo, we go

to see CHVRCHES for the first

time live and ever since we've been

wanting more. Luckily 

they came out with this single.

Get Out a couple of weeks ago,

and we can't help but hit

the "repeat" button every time 

it comes on. Let's just say we will

be on the edge of our seats until

the album drop.

Tunesday; Wild Love

James Bay has a fresh look,

AND a fresh sound, and we 

are living for it.

We were excited when we started

seeing teasers of possible new music

and when the new single 

Wild Love

dropped last week,

it was pure magic.

This song is giving us all 

the feels and just in time for the

day of love <3

This year marks our 6th Consecutive Bonnaroo.

We always love this time of year as we

anticipate the lineup announcement. Last week,

the lineup was released and MAN! Are we pumped!

One thing we were extremely happy to see

is a bigger presence of Country artist,

including Sturgill Simpson, Brothers Osborne,

Midland, Old Crow Medicine Show,

and one of our up and coming favorites,

Tyler Childers.

We first heard Tyler Childers at the 

later part of last year. We were drawn to his

Edgier, bluegrass spin on Country music.

His music is unique and resembles sounds

much to the like of Sturgill Simpson or Jason

Isbell.

We are excited to see his set on 
the Farm this year!

Tunesday; Devon Gilfillian

We first discovered the soulful sounds

of Devon Gilfillian on Spotify's Discover

Weekly playlist. His song "Here and Now"

popped up on shuffle, and we never

turned back.

Devon Gilfillian, a Philidelphia native,
has planted his roots in Nashville, TN for
the past 3 years and says he has no
plans of returning home anytime soon.
His original songs showcase his childhood
influences ranging from the
 R&B workings of Al Green and Ray Charles 
to the rock & roll vibes of Jimi Hendrix.

By great happening, Devon happened to

be opening for Drew Holcomb a couple

of weeks ago in St. Louis at Delmar Hall.
We got to watch him front row and live

play his EP. We were in pure amazement

at the talent that was exuding off of the stage.

Every song you could just feel the emotion

and the meaning.

It turns out, Devon was also playing this

past weekend at Pilgrimage Festival at yet

another small stage called the Shady Grove. 

Listeners got to sit in the shade and immerse

themselves in the bluesy southern soul music.

We just feel lucky to have seen him 

twice in such a short time, and hope to

definitely see him again soon!

Tunesday; Cloves

This is CLOVES. An Australian Singer

and songwriter who we have been following

on Spotify for quite sometime, after she showed

up on our Discover Weekly. Lucky for us,

she just so happened to also be featured on the 

Miller Lite Stage at Bonnaroo this year,

and we were able to catch part of her set

in between Cold War Kids and Chance the Rapper.

Her voice is absolutely entrancing and her music

emulates a sort of Lana Del Rey-esque

type of music.
