We got to see this badass

female artist Dua Lipa tear up the stage at 

Bonnaroo last year. 

Her self titled album,

Dua Lipa, has really been getting

us through some serious gym sessions lately,

especially her hit single IDGAF and New Rules. 

We may or may not have caught ourselves dancing

more than once on the elliptical machine.

Last year at Bonnaroo, we go

to see CHVRCHES for the first

time live and ever since we've been

wanting more. Luckily 

they came out with this single.

Get Out a couple of weeks ago,

and we can't help but hit

the "repeat" button every time 

it comes on. Let's just say we will

be on the edge of our seats until

the album drop.

One of the absolute best parts of Bonnaroo

is getting to discover new up and coming artists.

This year, on the first day, we were killing some time 

before our first show and got to talking to a woman and

her friend at the breakfast table. At some point 

during a lull in conversation the woman indicated

she was nervous. After asking her why, she told us

her husband was about to play on the stage adjacent

to the tent we were sitting under. 

We decided to stick around for the 

Sweet Sweet show. Let's just say it was a happy

encounter.

Happy 5th Year Bonn-iversary!

Time really flies when you're having fun

adventuring. This year already marks our

FIVE YEAR Bonn-iversary. Can you believe it?

Neither can we!

It really seems like yesterday when we

first pulled the trigger on buying tickets

and threw ourselves into the amazing world

that is Bonnaroo. And we never looked back

If there is one thing you should experience

in life, whether it be Bonnaroo, or any other festival,

it would be to grab a bestie or two, hit the road

and get lost in the weekend of live music,

dancing and ,of course, SPICY PIE for days.

No Straighteners, no showers, limited cell service,

no worries, just good ole fashion fun with

best friends making memories that will

surely last a lifetime.

Bandana DIY

Bonnaroo is just 24 days away and we

are already making some early preparations

for the trip! One of our must-have

festival accessories for the past few years

has been a bandana. 

We decided, this year, why not give

our bandana a little makeover and make 

them a little more fun with a super easy DIY!

We went through our goodie bag

of DIY notions, and found some cute

embroidered flowers and some 

ombre fringe to sew onto the bandanas. 

You can pick up bandanas just about anywhere

these days and they are usually about $.99!

You can also get a 12-pack on amazon for around

$10!

We got our floral patches on amazon, and
there are really great ones on etsy as well!
the ombre fringe we found at Michaels!

For the floral patches, we just did a simple 

whipstitch, enough to secure all the edges

of the patch down. The fringe was a little trickier

and delicate, so we did a machine zig-zag

stitch to secure the edges. Once secured, we 

trimmed the bottom of the fringe.

This DIY was so easy and we loved the way

it turned out! How will you style
