mason jar snow globes

 The versatility of a mason jar is endless and we couldn't resist finding another use. We turned our mason jars into snow globes for a kitschy holiday look!

what you'll need:

Mason jars {any size}
Glitter
Miniatures
Rubber cement or hot glue

Water version:
Distilled water
Liquid glycerine

how to make:
Glue your miniatures to a clean, dry lid. Add your glitter and other items to the bottom of your mason jar.  Take your lid with your tree or other items glued to it, and place it onto the mason jar with the glitter at the bottom.  Close the lid tightly and shake it up! We also made a version with water and added glycerine so the glitter fell slowly.  Let it snow!

  1. I LOVE these! It's so funny, last week my boyfriend and I were in Anthropologie and he saw one of these for 60 dollars. We swore that we would make them ourselves, and now that you guys posted this we'll be able to do it!

    Thank you!
