DIY {Detox Water}








We have been on a bit of a binger lately with so much
going on in St. Louis; Fashion Week, Oktoberfest, and let's not
forget, Cardinals are in the post season.  To help us detoxify and 
make it through this week, we decided to make a batch 
 lemon, cucumber, and mint detox water.

What's so special about this lemon, 
cucumber and mint combo?

Not only does 'magic' water help to rehydrate your body, it also helps 
to cleanse and remove all of the toxins and impurities
from your body and liver and helps in digestion.

How?

+ Lemons: 
Lemon water makes a powerful ingredient in any detox
drink.  The citric acid in lemon juice helps to cleanse and alkalize 
your body, aides in digestion and boosts your immune system.

+Mint:
Mint not only adds a touch of of flavor without adding any
sugar, but it helps to settle your stomach and also aides in digestion

+Cucumber:
Cucumbers are among the most hydrating vegetables and contain most of
the vitamins the body needs in a single day.  They also
contain a compound called citrulline, which has been shown to
help the liver filter impurities and toxins.


For the best results,  make your water and let it sit overnight before drinking.
