A couple of weekends ago, we revisited
our old stomping grounds in Columbia, MO
to attend the 10th annual
Roots N Blues N BBQ festival.
It's changed quite a bit from how we remember. The festival used to be held in the
streets of downtown Columbia, but in recent years it
has been moved not too far down the street
to Stephens Lake Park.
We were pretty pumped to go after seeing
this years' lineup this past spring;
Ryan Adams, EmmyLou Harris,
John Prine, Leon Bridges, Band of Horses,
Pokey LaFarge, just to name a few.
We unfortunately were not able to attend
day one of the festival, which headlined
Gary Clark Jr, but luckily
we were able to catch him at Pilgrimage Festival.
Roots N Blues Festival had such a
great vibe that seemed contagious.
Every artist that hit the stage just put
on the show of their life. Everyone
looked like they were just having
an absolute blast, which seemed to radiate
throughout the crowd. We could all feel it.
