This past weekend at the
Scarlett Garnet event, we were able to snag a few great
vintage items while shopping and helping customers customize their purchases. Emily bought this blouse from the
Current Material table that was one of the featured sellers at the event. Though, we didn't have time to DIY any of our purchases at the event we later switched out the plain white buttons for some
gold art-deco buttons with a pearly white center. A
simple update that makes an vintage item brand new and one of a kind all at the same time.

This is a great post!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of being able to make an item original by modifying it yourself :)

I've totally done this to a vintage shirt I got a while back! I wish my buttons were as cute as these though! Adorable!
